Brief

Feldkorn is a self-initiated concept for an independent neighbourhood bakery: a business with a genuinely good, simple product and no visual system behind it — the kind of gap this studio sees constantly in real briefs. The exercise: design an identity that could survive being applied by someone other than the person who designed it.

Approach

The starting point was restraint: a single mark, a two-colour palette (a warm flour-white and a deep grain-brown) and one typeface pairing, all documented in a short usage guide before a single application was designed. Packaging, signage and a stationery set were then built directly from that rule set — not designed freehand and reconciled afterward.

Outcome

A small, coherent system that reads as one brand across a paper bag, a window sign and a business card — proof, within the studio’s own working method, that the rules hold up once the mark leaves the page they were drawn on.
